Lead Blessed Life Do Random Acts of Kindness

--

Being kind — to ourselves as well as to others — creates very powerful, strong and positive impact on our physical, psychological, mental, emotional and spiritual psyche.

That is Why Random Acts of Kindness Matters a lot to Our own Wellbeing and Welfare.

Many of our Random Acts of Kindness — can causes ripple effect- as it not only benefit the doer and the receiver alone — it may actually manage to draw people [who gets touched-moved-inspired by the kindness acts AND then take it forward] to create an exponential magnification of the movement.

W-(holistically) -Our Well-being should include — the presence of positive emotions and moods (e.g., contentment, happiness), the absence of negative emotions (e.g., depression, anxiety), satisfaction, contentment, fulfillment and feelings of bliss, hope as well as enthusiasm for the future etc etc

If you make a list of your happiest moments in life — chances are — these happened when you did something [it does not matter how SMALL it was for YOU] without any thoughts of self-gratification.

We feel great within — when we are adding unparalleled value and making meaningful positive differences to others.

Kindness has been shown to build stronger family and community relationships — Kindness has also been known to end conflicts, build bridges and inspire people to grow.

Even the organizations and countries — who treat their employees kindly and respectably — attracts and retain best talents.

Although kindness is linked inextricably to happiness and contentment [at deeper level] — Kindness as a value is often undervalued.

Kindness needs a mindset of compassion for others — AND — here I am not talking about doing Random Acts of Kindness because You either force yourself to do it consciously OR do it as a ritual or religious practice.

This has to become our natural self — off-course balance is needed between Your Essentials Needs AND helping others.

Studies after studies have shown that the kinder people are happier than who are self-focused, self-centered and self-obsessed.

Just recalling moments when we did self-less acts — which actually added real value to others — would make us feel happy and good about ourselves.

Our kindness towards others create within us a sense of interconnectedness belongingness with others.

Kindness is a habit of giving — of wanting to lift burdens from others or to provide a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen.

In these turbulent times of radicalization, religious fanatics, political dictators, racism and terrorism — as well as — in the times of fear and uncertainty — we need to be reminded that our world still has love in it — that is why Random acts of kindness are very important in today’s world than ever.

Because in our current environment — it’s easy to lose faith in humanity — especially because the stresses, the fears, the anxieties are wreaking havocs on our health.

There is big distinction between Random Acts of Kindness AND “Courtesy, Manners, Politeness and Nice Behavior”.

Opening door for others or treating others with respect are common courtesy and These are things we should be doing any way.

The Random Acts of Kindness — would be those acts those take thought, efforts, time and maybe postponing our self-interest.

Because of our perceptions — We may believe that the acts of kindness are something we inherently do throughout the day — but it is not that simple.

Ask yourself — Do you always go to help when someone drops something or do you wait for someone else to do it Or do you always compliment someone for….[anything good] etc etc.

“We cannot do great things on this earth, only small things with great love” — Mother Teresa
